Industrial Barranquesa is registered in the Carbon Footprint, Compensation, and CO₂ Absorption Projects Registry of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, representing another step in our commitment to sustainability and the fight against climate change.
During 2022 and 2023, we obtained the “Calculo” seal, a distinction that recognizes our effort to rigorously measure and report our carbon footprint- the total greenhouse gas emissions generated by our organization, both directly and indirectly- in accordance with the Ministry’s requirements.
At Barranquesa, we earned this seal after successfully passing the OCA Global audit of our emissions quantification data, conducted according to the GHG Protocol Standards. This audit covered our production facilities, including both Anchor Cages plants and the Tower Flanges plant, confirming the accuracy and reliability our our measurements.
