We have a wide range of experience in manufacturing numerous products, especially flanges and anchor cages for wind towers. With more than 35 years of experience, we have adopted processes based on cutting-edge technology and strict quality standards we meet and the ongoing audits by renowned metallurgical industry experts. For this reason, our flanges and anchor cages can be found on wind farms worldwide.

We are likewise available to manufacture any type of product required by our customers, investigating the most cost-effective production approach and collaborating with customers during the entire process to ensure total success.

International expansion

In 2024, Barranquesa will mark an important milestone by opening its 4th factory in Chennai (India), being our first international foray. This expansion responds to the commitment to follow the needs of our clients, who have a global presence. In this new location, Barranquesa will produce anchor cages with the same quality and service that is offered at our headquarters in Europe. This internationalization not only increases our production capacity, but also allows us to offer a global service with an agile response in the shortest possible time.

With over 60 years’ experience in the metallurgical industry, Barranquesa has excelled in the manufacture of a wide range of flanges for a variety of applications, from large pipelines to wind turbines.

In our commitment to ensuring quality in all our products, we have established a rigorous quality policy throughout all manufacturing processes. We are proud to hold certifications from renowned certification bodies such as Bureau Veritas, who have awarded us ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 45000, ISO 3834, as well as CE marking to EN 1090 standard. In addition, Germanischer Lloyd has approved our welding procedures.

Our History

2024

International expansion: INDIA

In September of this year, the first factory outside Spain will be inaugurated in India. This will extend the coverage and the market to which Barranquesa can supply its products in an agile way and with the same quality as always.

2023

Anchor Cages II in Huarte Araquil

Barranquesa acquired a new headquarters in Uharte Arakil where anchor cages will be produced. 17,000 m2 of factory surface with 7,600 m2 under roof. It will have our first welding robot.

2021

New facilities in Pamplona

Barranquesa adquired a new site in Pamplona to meet the growing demand of anchor cage solutions. 10,000 m2 of factory area with 6,000 m2 under roof cover.

2019

Lacunza Expansion

Barranquesa expands it facilities in 1,700 m2 to increase anchor cage production capacity.

2018

Anchor Cages

Barranquesa feeds successfully into the complete anchor cage market.

2015

Capacity Increase

Barranquesa makes a major investment in new facilities and machinery to increase its capacity in a 50%.

Barranquesa starts to supply its flanges for the wind industry in 1990 becoming a reference in flanges until today.
