October has been a month full of significant events and exciting developments for our company
The highlight, and one that fills us with pride, is the inauguration of our new Anchor Cages factory in Chennai, India. What once seemed impossible has become a reality in under a year, and we now have a production facility in Asia. The opening ceremony was a beautiful and moving event, respecting Indian traditions. During the celebration, we had the opportunity to showcase our facilities to the world alongside our clients, collaborators, and suppliers—a truly inspiring way to launch our new site, bringing energy and positivity to everyone present.
We want to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of Dennis William and Gonzalo Navarro throughout this long journey. Special thanks also go to our local team: Mikel Arzallus, Mafalda Aguillo, Rajeev Okhandiar, and Chandrasekar. Without your commitment and hard work, Industrial Barranquesa Chennai would not have been possible.
Following the inauguration, we attended WindEnergy India 2024. Over three days, we had the opportunity to meet not only with clients but also with colleagues and friends from across the industry. The Indian market is thriving, and we felt that energy throughout the fair. We also want to thank ICEX for organizing our stand.
To round off our trip to India, we participated in the Spain-India Business Summit, where we gained valuable insights and recommendations from companies with more experience in the country. It was a unique opportunity to get closer to what is soon expected to be the world’s second-largest economy. An interesting fact shared with us was that around 250 Spanish companies are already established in India.
With a wealth of new experiences and insights, we’re back in Europe, energized and committed to working hard to address the climate crisis in the dynamic wind energy sector.
